The work you’ll do.
From preparing the room to helping an anxious patient through treatment, you’ll bring both clinical skill and human care. Explore the responsibilities below.
Chairside care & patient support
Provide attentive four-handed assistance across general, restorative, cosmetic, and surgical procedures. Welcome patients, listen to their concerns, explain appointment steps clearly, and support them before, during, and after care.
Preparation & infection control
Prepare operatories and instruments, keep supplies organized, and carefully follow infection control and sterilization protocols.
Digital imaging & documentation
Take digital radiographs and assist with CBCT imaging within your training and authorized scope. Support accurate clinical documentation.
iTero & Invisalign workflows
Perform iTero scans and support Invisalign workflows from case setup through delivery, in coordination with the clinical team.
Digital dentistry & 3D printing
Support in-house 3D printing workflows for surgical guides, night guards, and other appliances, with training and guidance as needed.
Surgical assisting & coordination
Assist with implant placement and extractions. Coordinate with the front-office and clinical teams so patients experience a smooth, thoughtful visit.
All clinical duties are performed within your licensure, training, and required supervision.
What you’ll bring.
Strong chairside skills, kindness, and the curiosity to keep refining your craft.
Talk with us about your experience- An active California RDA license in good standing.
- At least 2 years of dental assisting experience.
- Current BLS or CPR certification and X-ray certification.
- Careful attention to detail and comfort with digital clinical systems.
- Composure and clear communication, especially with anxious patients, and respect for teammates.
- Ownership, reliable follow-through, openness to feedback, and an interest in learning new techniques.
Especially valuable: iTero scanning proficiency is strongly preferred. Invisalign experience and surgical assisting experience, particularly with implants and oral surgery, are valuable pluses.
